A beautiful warm fall day.
But we feel a change in the air.
So we're all holding onto every bit of warm sunshine we can get
knowing exactly what's ahead of us.
It reminds me of the children's book Frederick by Leo Lionni

I always think of this poetic little mouse savoring up summer before the biter winter comes.
While the other mice are getting food to survive winter,
he ponders & absorbs the colors, light, grass, flowers, sun.
That's exactly how I feel.
Food can only get you so far.
What I need to survive winter
is hot sand, long afternoons, & a day in the park

sliding & running
without a coat
without a hat
without gloves.

So many sweet photos of your day at the park, in the sun, I almost feel like i was with you guys, I wish, cause i am worrying about what's to come here in colorado.
