This year we spent
Christmas in Colorado.
The last time we were there for Christmas,
I was sick & pregnant.
So I especially was anxious to replace a few memories.
Christmas was on a Sunday.
When I first realized this I thought with displeasure,
Oh man!
Now we can't hang out in our PJs all morning.
We have to hustle and bustle our way to church
at 9 am.
It wasn't until I was sitting in Sacrament meeting,
relishing in the sweet spirit of song,
that I realized what a special opportunity it was
to start your Christmas Day with thoughts and feelings of...
the Savior.
It was a wonderful Christmas!
Out of all the cool things checked off her list,
Maybeline was mostly enthralled in
her Welch's fruit snacks
Santa managed to stuff in her stocking.
Thanks Santa.
But Grandma's Cabbage Patch
was a hit too.
Personally, I loved her Tom's
from her stylish Aunt Jamie of course!
Are they not the cutest?
It was an awesome Christmas, just because your family was here to share it with us. I am so happy for the time we got to be with Maybeline, she is precious!
