It was just one of those perfect days.
The ones I say, "Thank goodness for digital cameras!"
Seriously, what did we do without them?
Long time Vineyarders say September & October
are the best months on the island.
I'm beginning to understand why.
You get to do this.
And no one to bother.
You get the beauty all to yourself.
Sounds a bit selfish right?
But when you have to put up with vacationers all summer long,
honking their horns, a bit impatient, & at times rude,
you have the right to say things like that.
So we say like the rest of them,
"It's been nice. But now it's time for you to go home."
All with love of course.
It's all about love.

omigosh, those photos are fabulous, i love the one where maybeline is trying to get the sand off her face. she is so lucky her parents are photographers and can capture those moments. well, before digital cameras we took very posed shots saying "cheese", and we were stingy with our photos, you couldn't waste film and developing costs on a shot that might not be good. love you guys!

Love the ones of Maybeline spitting out the yucky sand. Great shots... made me feel like I was there in person...running my toes through the wet sand... pure heaven. Love you!
