It's been a big month for the little Miss

Changes for Maybeline?

She is lovin' food!

This includes peas, prunes, bananas & strawberries.

Mixed with a little rice cereal... she cannot get enough.

She sticks her little turtle tongue out when she's being tickled or playing copy.

It's adorable!

She is getting extra mobile, although no crawling yet.

Brent & I have made a promise to ourselves

to never leave her alone on the bed... ever!

Even to quickly wash our hands.

We almost had a major accident.

Thankfully her guardian angles were watching her.

We have to keep our eye on this little one.

Still loving textures and small bits on the floor.

Still making her parents laugh.

And still loves to cuddle

while being rocked slowly to sleep.

Her biggest achievement this month is waving.

It is the cutest watching her little hand flap up and down with a big smile,

waving to everyone and anyone.

It warms our hearts.

And I'm pretty sure it warms their hearts too.

What a smart and sweet cookie.

Growing up, my sisters and I always said, "When Mom's happy everyone's happy."

Which also coincided with, "When Mom's doing the bills... stay away!"

Now I say, "When Maybeline's happy we're happy!"

It feels good having a baby who's getting plenty of sleep, is eating well,

and is healthy.

It really makes life a lot less stressful.

When she was sick with a fever at the end of the cruise, we had to travel a looooong way home

2 days travel of:

2 planes

2 hour delay

2 taxies

1 hotel

1 car

1 ferry

Home.

Let's just say we were very glad to be home.

And I'm glad she's better.

But she's kept her running of being sick every month of her life.

A record I would love to break.
