23 weeks

A song I find myself humming every time I look in the mirror is a personal rendition of a Beatles favorite: "I have to admit I'm getting bigger. A little bigger all the time... Getting so much bigger all the time. Getting bigger all the time. Bigger. Bigger. Bigger..." Yes, that would be me and my growing awkward belly. I find myself heaving my body out of bed in the morning and I've retired from bending over to tie the preschoolers' shoes. We both feel her kicking like crazy and have even witnessed my belly move as she does so. 5 months. 4 to go. And after watching labor videos in our birthing class, I'm in no hurry. In fact... if there an 'undo' button? or perhaps 'skip'?

Also....Oh my gosh you are GORGEOUS!!!! You may feel awkward (I can totally relate...) BUT...you look FABULOUS! (That I CANNOT relate to) WOW! A cute prego girl I never was! WOW YOU ARE JUST GORGEOUS!!! Your hands are still so teeny! Your little fingers in the black and white photo...so pretty and feminine! Lis...you are so petite! How wonderful to feel her kick so much, and roll. Oh I miss that! I wish I could see you and hug you and your litte girl! :) Kiss her for me!

  3. I am cracking up... "is there an un-do button"? I remember thinking that at the END as in the last hour of labor... you are in big trouble if you think that now :). You look FABULOUS and I LOVE you in your coral sweater... the navy one is working over here too :). You are so stylin! In fact I had "Lisa" hair today with it twisted with those chopstick clips... oooh la la!

  4. I feel for you wonderful women who put yourselves through this metamorphosis so children can be born! Jen never believed me, but, I always thought she was totally beautiful all through her pregnancy! Best to you guys - and remind Brent that Pres. Clark and I are looking forward to his nifty Conference file!
