August Fireworks

Every year in August the town of Oak Bluffs puts on a HUGE fireworks show as a way to say thank you to our visitors... and now it's time to leave. Out of all the firework shows I've been to, this one has the most intense grand finale I've ever seen. It also was a new experience for all of us to see a fireworks show with a layer of fog. A few times the fog was so thick we didn't see the firework at all but the sky completely lit up with a flash of red, green, or blue light. Beautiful! Apologies for the lack of photos but fireworks aren't the most photogenic inventions.
