Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year!

These past few months have brought many blessings in our lives! One especially was the chance to go to California for Christmas. A major lesson learned: don't fly to or from Boston in winter. Let's just say I (Lisa) spent about 4 days total stuck in Boston one of those days was on New Year's Eve. Because Brent only had Christmas and New Years Day off we traveled separately. It was a very anticlimactic "Happy New Year!" Thankfully my sister and brother-in-law live about 10 min from the Boston airport I was able to bunk with them. We had a fabulous time together for the Holidays! (:
California was gorgeous! This is the BEST time of year for Southern California. While most trudge through frigid conditions and battle gravity on icy terrain in winter, those "So Cals" are loving life in 75 degree weather and blue skies.
Someday we'll have a winter home in CA and a summer home on MV... don't worry, we'll have room for fellow dreamers.

  2. Hey Guys!! Love the slideshow of California, it makes me want to go back and sell pest control in San Diego, except without the pest control job. Give me a call when you guys get this, I had a couple of quick questions for you.

  3. Totally agree. Love the CA weather! We had 85∘on Wednesday, and then 50∘on Thursday, with rain. I love having the mix. You can vacation with us, and then we'll come your way. I hope to visit you soon!! I would love to see that side of things. Love you!
