I feel so moved by the beautiful Christmas devotional given by the First Presidency I wanted to share a few of my notes. President Uchtdorf said that this tight economic time is a hidden blessing where we focus on simplicity during this Christmas season. Gift giving becomes a gift from the heart rather from our pockets.
President Eyring said we must be humble in order to receive the beautiful gift of Christmas then blessed us to have and GIVE a joyous Christmas.
President Monson then spoke on making "room" for Christ in our homes. He said this is the perfect time to renew our efforts towards Christ to serve and love others a little more. And let us make a conscious committed effort to bring Christ into our lives!
Afterwards I watched this brilliant video of highlights from the recent General Conference. It's inspiring to hear the combined counsel from each of our blessed apostles. It's only 11 min. It's beautiful to watch and a perfect clip to share with neighbors too!
