Although I'm 24, this was my first time voting. "You didn't vote last election? How unpatriotic of you!" Nay. My mom was kind enough to fill in my ballot. Justification: we would have chosen the same candidates anyway. A feeling of power came over me as I gracefully connected the bar to the wisely selected candidate. You too can feel as a true American by hitting the booth this Tuesday. For those CA who do, don't forget to vote YES on 8. God Bless America!
You are way too cute... yes V O T E!!!! Hope you are happy about President Obama... we are. I wish him luck... he has a HUGE job ahead of him.

ReplyDeleteLOL I can't believe this is your first time voting. Wait....I think this would be my second. LOL I'm not much for voting or politics. But I pray for the right leaders. As for Obama...I think every president has a HUGE load and if anyone wants to take up the challenge, go ahead! Every politician is crooked and says what people want to hear. They are really just a face for the country. It's the people he has to answer to that actually make the call. So, good luck Obama. I think every crooked politician also has the struggle with the people hating them too. Good with the bad, I guess. I feel sorry for every president that has to deal with judgmental Americans. I still think I might move to New Zealand....Obama or not. :) Anyone interested in changing the compound?
ReplyDeleteAhh Lisa, how you make me smile. And laugh, and basically cry from laughing. Thanks for the theatrical performance even from a distance. Love ya girl! And yes, I did vote, thanks :)
