37 years ago my mom and dad were married. Young and in love they escaped the reception in their new 71 blue Volkswagen Bug and headed to life. Their romantic honeymoon started on the shores of Bass Lake California camping in a tent and sleeping on swimming rafts. No joke. I guess when you are forced to be a happy camper the first week of marriage you learn how to cope with everything else for the next 50 years and more.
